Coloured lenses can be a great help for those who suffer with visual stress, especially if you have experienced positive results from using overlays already.

We can tailor precision tinted spectacle lenses to your exact requirements by using a colorimeter. The highly sophisticated machine accurately identifies the specific colour to maximally ease your visual stress, reducing discomfort and making reading easier.

Most children whose symptoms are improved by using coloured overlays will benefit from a colorimetry assessment. Whilst overlays can be effective, they are only available in 12 different tints, which aren’t always the exact colour to alleviate visual stress.

However, for precision tinted spectacle lenses, there are thousands of options available. This means that a greater degree of accuracy can be achieved between the optimal colour determined by the colorimeter and the tinted lenses we prescribe. Plus, using lenses rather than overlays enables children to benefit from visual stress relief when writing or using computers, as well as reading printed text.
